About the Instructor
My goal is simple: to help people develop practical skills and real confidence behind the gun.
With nearly 30 years of experience shooting and handling firearms, my background was built largely before online resources were widely available. That meant learning through a hands-on, trial-and-error approach, while continuously seeking out professional training. Having trained under a variety of instructors, from “tactical” to “practical” disciplines, I have adopted the most effective elements from each.
I also spent several years working as a range officer at an outdoor shooting range, where safety, structure, and accountability were non-negotiable. That experience continues to shape how I approach instruction today.
I am an NRA-certified instructor as well as a California Department of Justice-certified concealed carry instructor. I continue to train regularly to refine my own skills and stay current with evolving best practices.
My approach is straightforward: focus on efficiency, build strong fundamentals, and develop confidence through structured, repeatable practice. Training is safety-driven , performance-focused, and centered on measurable improvement — without unnecessary complexity or distraction.
Most performance gaps under stress arise from breakdowns in fundamentals. I focus on identifying those gaps and helping students close them.
